- Staunton State Park - Watch for the opening of our newest Colorado State Park! Located approximately 10 miles from Bailey Lodge, Staunton State Park is scheduled to open mid-2012. The 3,800 acre park will soon open for picnicking, wildlife viewing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, fishing, photography, outdoor education, geo-caching, geological studies, botanical studies, as well as multi-use trails and hiker-only trails.
