Along Colorado's Fabled South Platte River
Greetings from Scott and Grant Peck…
The Bailey Lodge is under new ownership and has been undergoing a comprehensive remodeling over the past year.
Update March 20th, 2015
Our remodeling has been slow but steady as our plan to transform the lodge progresses. We are in for a long project as we have expanded the scope of what we are doing while we will be largely shutting down inside work on the lodge for the 2015 season from May to October. We are scrambling at the moment to get everything presently underway cleaned up before all of you start to show up.
We are not automated with aspects of inquiry, booking and confirmation just yet so please bear with us with the process. Website, forms, logo and all are still in the design stage.
RATES MAY 15TH THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30TH 2015: In season, original, un-remodeled "Bailey Lodge Classic" rooms which many of you know will be:
Completely remodeled new units* (of which we will only have three done.)
All rates are for double occupancy. All rooms are double queen suites with the same floor plan with a queen bed in the main front room and another in a separate room with a door in the back.
Additional adults are $10 each. Additional children are $8 each (given some recent experiences that is a bargain). Dogs (we love them but...) are discouraged but possible--on an individual basis and only in the older rooms at $15 additional cost.
*REMODELED ROOMS These units have been gutted down to the bare studs and completely redone. The interior design of each unit is unique though all are aimed at becoming higher end and/or rustic versions of turn-of-the-century mountain residences with some artistic twists. In the end, the looks will vary from barn board to Victorian.
All units, new and old, will be immaculately clean and well maintained. We are correcting many years of deferred maintenance though it will be lengthy process to complete it all. Will likely maintain a group of the "classic" rooms for both the nostalgia and reduced price point. Along way we will be most happy to hear of any feedback you might have.
See you soon...
It is the goal of me and my brother Grant to bring the lodge up to a new level of quality in experience and aesthetic with our policy for dealing with our customers patterned after Grant's most successful Moab motel. His customer satisfaction level there will be our goal to match here though the design and feel of our establishment in Bailey will be completely different.
Thanks for checking us out.

Bailey Lodge, on the property of the former Moore Dale Ranch Resort, offers comfortable lodging in the heart of beautiful Platte Canyon, 2.5 miles southwest of Bailey Colorado on US Highway 285. Our resort-like setting with its roomy two-room suites are great for a minimum stays of four days or longer.
Located only 46 highway miles from Denver, Bailey Lodge is a perfect spot to get away from the city. Our out-of-state visitors love the convenient access of both mountain activities and the urban amenities metro Denver provides. If you're visiting friends or family who live within the 285 Corridor, Bailey Lodge is a natural lodging choice. The beautiful, scenic drive along 285 makes the trip to Bailey Lodge easy.
With so much to do nearby you’ll enjoy your stay at Bailey Lodge no matter what time of year you choose to visit our beautiful scenic area in the Colorado Rockies. Everything you want is here or nearby: hiking, fishing, rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, hunting, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, designated scenic byways, fascinating historic towns, arts and crafts from local artisans and much more!
Bailey Lodge is convenient to any outdoor activity you can imagine. We’re right on the edge of Colorado’s Pike National Forest by the Platte River Mountains and the Kenosha Range of the Rocky Mountains. Our accommodation overlooks a heated swimming pool and a lovely stretch of the North Fork of the South Platte River where you can fly fish for trout on lodge grounds.
